Terms and Conditions of Use for Psychic.org
These terms apply when you browse Psychic.org, create an account, publish a psychic listing, contact a reader, use chat, voice, video, livestream, search, notification, or certification features, or otherwise use the Psychic.org platform.
Acceptance
By using Psychic.org, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or platform features.
In these terms, "Psychic.org", "we", "us" and "our" means The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd trading as Psychic.org and, where relevant, World Psychic Organization. "Reader" means a person who creates or operates a psychic listing. "Customer" means a person who views a listing, contacts a reader, watches a stream, or receives a reading. "User" means any visitor, account holder, reader, or customer.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your location, to create an account, publish a listing, offer readings, purchase readings, or use private chat, voice, or video features.
Our Role
Psychic.org is a directory, profile, communication, search, notification, livestream, and certification platform. We help customers find readers and help readers publish profile pages, receive contact from customers, and use communication tools.
Readers listed on Psychic.org are independent providers. Unless we state otherwise in writing, a reader is not our employee, agent, partner, or representative. We do not control the content of individual readings, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, availability, outcome, or suitability of any reading or reader.
Psychic.org and The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd trading as World Psychic Organization are neutral infrastructure providers only. We provide the directory, profile pages, technical tools, chat, voice, video, livestream, notification, and related platform features. We are not a party to any reading, reading contract, appointment, workshop, private agreement, payment arrangement, refund arrangement, or dispute between a customer and a reader.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, customers pay readers directly, readers set their own prices and terms, and readers are responsible for their own services, representations, refunds, taxes, accounting, receipts, business obligations, consumer law obligations, and customer complaints. Psychic.org does not receive a commission or fee from individual readings between customers and readers.
Where a reader chooses to use their own payment provider, payment link, wallet, bank account, card processor, or payment app, that provider and transaction are controlled by the reader and customer, not Psychic.org. It is the reader's payment provider, the reader's customer relationship, and the reader's legal and financial responsibility.
Psychic readings, spiritual guidance, metaphysical content, livestreams, chats, voice calls, video calls, articles, training pages, and certification material on Psychic.org are for entertainment, personal reflection, spiritual, and educational purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, emergency, or other professional advice. You should not delay, ignore, or replace professional advice because of anything you see or hear through Psychic.org.
If you are in danger, in crisis, or need medical, legal, financial, or mental health assistance, contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your location.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your email address, phone number, profile URL, listing content, and contact details. You are also responsible for keeping your login details secure.
You must not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, use another user's account, or attempt to access admin, reader, customer, stream, chat, call, database, or server features that you are not authorised to access.
We may verify email addresses, phone numbers, account activity, profile status, livestream status, and other technical information to operate the platform, reduce fraud, protect users, and maintain service quality.
We may suspend, restrict, deactivate, delete, or refuse an account or listing if we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, creates risk for users, causes technical or security problems, is inactive, is misleading, or is otherwise harmful to the platform.
Reader Profiles and Listings
A reader may create a public profile page, such as psychic.org/username. Profile URLs are subject to availability. We may reserve, reject, rename, or remove usernames that are confusing, offensive, misleading, infringe rights, conflict with existing site folders, or are needed for platform features.
Readers are responsible for all content they publish, including profile text, photos, videos, links, contact details, reading types, reading methods, addresses, map locations, website links, social links, and livestream or chat activity.
Readers must ensure their listing is truthful, lawful, current, and not misleading. Readers must not claim qualifications, certification, experience, endorsements, reviews, abilities, services, availability, prices, or results that are false or misleading.
Readers may choose whether certain contact details, such as phone number or email address, are publicly displayed. A phone number may still be required and verified for platform integrity even if the reader chooses not to publish that number publicly.
If a reader enters a street address or location, the platform may display a general map or a link to mapping services. Readers should only publish an address if they are comfortable with customers seeing or using that location.
We may resize, compress, optimise, crop, convert, cache, moderate, or reject uploaded images and media so the site loads properly and remains safe to use. We may also remove media that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, low quality, corrupted, unsafe, or in breach of these terms.
Reader profile images, video greetings, audio greetings, reviews, and other public profile material must be authentic and must not mislead customers about who the reader is, what the reader looks or sounds like, or the services being offered. We may deactivate, suspend, remove, or refuse a listing if we reasonably believe a reader is using inauthentic, fake, impersonated, stolen, heavily misleading, or AI-generated images, video, audio, reviews, or profile material.
We may also deactivate, suspend, restrict, or remove a listing or account if there are repeated or serious customer complaints about reading quality, suspected fake reviews, misleading claims, abusive or unsafe behaviour, bad conduct in the community feed, harassment, spam, fraud, or other behaviour that we believe damages customer trust or the integrity of Psychic.org.
Calls, Chat, Streams and Status
Psychic.org may offer public and private communication features, including online chat, voice calls, video calls, livestream broadcasting, stream viewing, status badges, waiting rooms, pre-call device checks, and waiting room music.
Status labels such as "online", "offline", "streaming" and "busy" are automated indicators based on session, call, chat, or stream activity. They are provided for convenience only and may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable because of browser, network, device, server, or third-party service issues.
Private chat, voice, and video pages may be accessible by a reader's public URL, such as psychic.org/username/chat, psychic.org/username/voice, or psychic.org/username/video. Customers may be able to use these pages without creating a Psychic.org account. Readers are responsible for deciding who they invite into private sessions.
Livestreams may be public. If a reader broadcasts, customers and other users may view the stream through Psychic.org stream pages or links. Readers must not livestream content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, unsafe, or in breach of another person's rights.
We may use third-party technology providers to operate voice, video, stream, maps, phone verification, address lookup, notifications, email delivery, and other platform features. These services may process technical data such as device permissions, browser information, connection state, IP address, country, phone validation data, stream channel identifiers, and call or chat status.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, private, error-free, secure, or available chat, voice, video, stream, notification, or precheck services. Users should not rely on these tools for emergency or time-critical communication.
Certification and Training
Psychic.org may provide training pages, practice tools, historical figure exercises, certification exams, and account level labels such as "Registered Psychic" or "Certified Psychic".
Certification by Psychic.org or World Psychic Organization is a platform designation. It is not a government licence, regulated professional qualification, medical qualification, counselling qualification, financial qualification, legal qualification, or guarantee of reader accuracy or results.
We may review certification exam answers, account information, listing content, conduct, reader history, and other relevant material before granting, refusing, suspending, or removing certification. We may change certification criteria at any time.
Certification exam answers and progress may be saved so a user can continue later. Lodged exams may be stored and emailed to our support team for review.
Social Media and Public Promotion
By publishing a profile, becoming certified, broadcasting a livestream, or otherwise using public reader features, you grant Psychic.org and The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd permission to promote public parts of your profile and activity on Psychic.org and third-party social media platforms.
This promotion may include your username, display name, profile URL, profile image, listing text, reading types, certification status, and livestream activity. Social media posts may be made when you publish or update a listing, become certified, or have more than 2 viewers watching one of your livestreams.
If you record, upload, or publish a video profile, video greeting, livestream, or other public reader video through Psychic.org, you grant us permission to upload, repost, embed, excerpt, thumbnail, caption, and otherwise use that video on any social media platform, video platform, advertising channel, or related promotional channel to promote your reader page and Psychic.org.
We are not required to create, maintain, edit, remove, boost, or repeat any social media post. Once a post is published to a third-party platform, that platform's own rules, caching, sharing, deletion, and search indexing systems may apply.
Notifications and Messages
Users may request notifications, such as an email when a specific reader next logs in. These notifications are optional service messages and may be sent only once per request. We do not guarantee that any notification will be instant, delivered, accurate, or acted upon by the recipient.
Where we send commercial or promotional electronic messages, we will use consent, sender identification, and unsubscribe or opt-out processes required by applicable law. Users can contact us at support@psychic.org about notification preferences or unwanted messages.
Payments, Listing Fees and Refunds
If Psychic.org charges listing fees, certification fees, advertising fees, subscription fees, or other platform fees, the applicable price and inclusions will be shown at the time of purchase or sign-up.
Psychic.org currently charges an annual reader listing fee of USD $5, unless a different amount is shown at the time of payment. The fee helps reserve the reader's public profile URL, keep the directory clean, reduce spam, and maintain the platform.
To the extent permitted by law, the annual reader listing fee and other platform fees are not refundable once the listing, certification review, advertising, subscription period, or paid platform feature has started. This includes cases where a listing is later hidden, deactivated, suspended, restricted, removed, or terminated because of breach of these terms, customer complaints, suspected fake reviews, inauthentic media, misleading profile content, community feed misconduct, or platform integrity concerns.
This no-refund position does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
Payments or arrangements between a customer and an independent reader are the responsibility of those parties unless Psychic.org expressly states that it is processing that transaction. Customers should review a reader's profile, contact details, service description, prices, refund terms, availability, and business terms before purchasing or relying on a reading.
Where a customer pays a reader directly for a reading, workshop, livestream password, chat, voice call, video call, phone call, email reading, text reading, in-person reading, or any other service, that transaction is between the customer and the reader. Any commercial rights, consumer rights, service obligations, cancellation issues, quality complaints, payment disputes, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, receipts, and legal responsibilities belong to the customer and the reader, not Psychic.org.
Readers are solely responsible for confirming that payment has been received before starting or continuing a paid reading. Readers are also solely responsible for refunds, partial refunds, missed sessions, service complaints, payment-provider errors, payment-provider fees, chargebacks, declined payments, tax invoices, GST, VAT, sales tax, income reporting, and any other business or legal obligation connected with their readings.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Psychic.org uses cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, keep users logged in, remember preferences, protect accounts, reduce fraud, measure basic site performance, improve features, and support embedded services such as maps, video, voice, chat, livestreaming, social media, analytics, and payment or verification tools.
Some cookies and similar technologies are strictly necessary for the site to work. These may include session cookies, login and security cookies, fraud-prevention cookies, account preference cookies, form protection cookies, device-check cookies, and cookies needed to provide a feature you request. Where the law allows, these necessary technologies may be used without asking for separate consent.
Other cookies or similar technologies may be optional, including analytics, advertising, social media, embedded video, third-party map, remarketing, audience measurement, or cross-site tracking technologies. Where applicable law requires consent, we should request consent before setting or accessing non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
If you visit Psychic.org from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another location with cookie-consent rules, you may have rights to receive clear information, accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and withdraw consent. If a consent tool is shown, you should use that tool to manage your choices. You can also block, delete, or restrict cookies through your browser or device settings.
Blocking cookies may affect site features, including login, dashboards, favorites, notification requests, chat, voice calls, video calls, live streams, map display, forms, payments, and security checks. If you believe a non-essential cookie has been set without proper consent, contact us at support@psychic.org so we can review it.
Accessibility and Foreign Access
Psychic.org is operated from Queensland, Australia by The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd trading as World Psychic Organization. The site, platform, reader directory, chat, voice, video, stream, review, payment-link, map, and profile tools are provided from Australia and are intended to be governed by Australian law.
If you access Psychic.org from outside Australia, including from the United States, you do so voluntarily, at your own initiative, and you are responsible for deciding whether the site and any reader services are suitable, lawful, accessible, and appropriate in your location. We make no representation that Psychic.org, or any independent reader listed on Psychic.org, is available for use in every jurisdiction or complies with the laws, accessibility rules, consumer rules, professional rules, disability access rules, or public accommodation rules of any country, state, province, county, city, territory, or other location outside Australia.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not represent or warrant that Psychic.org complies with the United States Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, any United States state accessibility law, WCAG, EN 301 549, or any other accessibility standard, guidance, code, rule, or technical requirement of the United States or any other foreign jurisdiction. Any accessibility improvements, labels, alt text, keyboard support, captions, media alternatives, or similar features are provided on a best-efforts basis only and do not create a warranty, undertaking, admission, or representation of legal compliance.
Some parts of Psychic.org may be difficult or impossible to use with particular assistive technologies, devices, browsers, networks, screen readers, captions, voice-control tools, keyboard-only navigation, hearing aids, visual aids, or accessibility settings. This is especially true for live audio, live video, livestreams, user-uploaded photos, user-uploaded audio, user-uploaded video, third-party maps, third-party payment links, social media embeds, phone/SMS tools, and browser permission prompts that are controlled partly or entirely by third-party services or user devices.
Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, Psychic.org does not provide specialist disability support, live captioning, live transcription, audio description, sign-language interpretation, telephone relay support, screen-reader testing for every page, accessibility auditing for user-generated content, or guaranteed compatibility with any assistive technology. If accessibility is important to your ability to use the site, you should contact us at support@psychic.org before paying a reader, publishing a listing, relying on a feature, or using a live communication room.
We may restrict, block, geo-restrict, suspend, or discontinue access to Psychic.org or particular features from some locations at our discretion, including where legal, compliance, abuse, security, technical, payment, or platform-integrity issues arise.
Nothing in this section excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law. To the extent permitted by law, however, any claim, complaint, demand, loss, cost, or dispute connected with accessibility, disability access, foreign law, non-Australian legal standards, or use of Psychic.org outside Australia is subject to the disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities, and Queensland governing law and jurisdiction clauses in these terms.
Privacy
We collect and use personal information to operate Psychic.org, manage accounts, publish listings, verify phone numbers, process profile content, run search and maps, provide chat, voice, video and stream features, send notifications, receive contact form messages, administer certification exams, maintain security, and improve the platform.
The information we may collect includes name, username, email address, phone number, phone verification results, address or location, profile text, uploaded images, videos and links, reading methods and reading types, account level, exam answers, contact form messages, chat messages, notification requests, stream and call status, device checks, IP address, browser details, logs, and other information you provide or generate while using the site.
Some information is public if you publish it in a profile, stream, chatroom, public page, public listing, or social media promotion. Do not publish information that you want to keep private.
We may share information with service providers that help operate the site, including hosting, email, phone verification, address lookup, maps, analytics, livestream, voice, video, chat, image processing, database, moderation, security, and social media posting providers. Some providers may be located outside Australia.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce these terms, to protect users or the platform, to investigate suspected abuse, fraud, or security issues, or as part of a business transfer.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no website, database, email system, chat system, call service, or livestream service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Some information may need to be kept for legal, security, accounting, dispute, backup, or platform integrity reasons.
Acceptable Use
You must not use Psychic.org to publish, send, upload, stream, link to, or promote content or conduct that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, invasive of privacy, spammy, malware-related, or infringing of intellectual property or other rights.
You must not scrape the site, overload the service, bypass security controls, misuse APIs, automate fake accounts, manipulate status badges, impersonate another person, interfere with streams or calls, harvest contact details, or attempt to access files, databases, admin tools, source code, or folders that are not intended for you.
We may moderate, edit, hide, remove, refuse, deactivate, or delete content, listings, media, links, accounts, chatrooms, stream records, exam drafts, or other material at our discretion where we believe it is appropriate for legal, safety, quality, abuse-prevention, or platform reasons.
Intellectual Property
Psychic.org, the site design, code, branding, logos, page layouts, text, graphics, databases, software, and platform features are owned by or licensed to The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd, unless otherwise stated.
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile text, images, videos, links, chat messages, and exam answers, to the extent you own that content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, resize, optimise, display, publish, transmit, promote, moderate, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, protect, promote, and improve Psychic.org.
You promise that you have the rights needed to upload or publish your content and that your content does not infringe another person's rights. If you believe content on Psychic.org infringes your rights, contact us at support@psychic.org.
Disclaimers and Liability
Psychic.org is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, always available, or compatible with every device, browser, network, or third-party service.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, damage, cost, claim, dispute, refund request, chargeback, customer complaint, regulatory issue, consumer claim, tax issue, or expense arising from reader conduct, customer conduct, readings, livestreams, chats, calls, missed notifications, wrong contact details, inaccurate profile content, third-party services, downtime, data loss, unauthorised access, or reliance on information published through Psychic.org.
To the extent permitted by law, Psychic.org, The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd, World Psychic Organization, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and related parties are not responsible for any reading outcome, reader promise, customer decision, payment made directly to a reader, refund refused by a reader, dissatisfaction with a reading, reader availability, customer behaviour, or dispute between a customer and a reader.
To the extent permitted by law, a reader must deal directly with their customer and payment provider for any issue arising from a private reading, including whether a reading was completed, whether the customer was satisfied, whether technology dropped out, whether extra time was owed, whether a refund is appropriate, and whether a payment was authorised, reversed, disputed, or charged back.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any claim, loss, damage, complaint, demand, settlement request, legal fee, or expense connected with accessibility, disability access, assistive technology compatibility, captions, transcripts, audio description, keyboard access, screen-reader support, colour contrast, text alternatives, foreign accessibility standards, United States accessibility laws, or use of Psychic.org from outside Australia.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with Psychic.org is limited to the amount you paid directly to us for the relevant platform service giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100 if no amount was paid.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Psychic.org, The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd, World Psychic Organization, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and related parties from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, expenses, disputes, complaints, chargebacks, regulatory enquiries, legal fees, and demands arising from or connected with your content, your conduct, your breach of these terms, your readings or services, your dealings with another user, your direct payment or refund arrangements, your business obligations, your tax obligations, your consumer law obligations, your misuse of the platform, your infringement of another person's rights, your user-generated content accessibility, or your use of Psychic.org from outside Australia.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform changes. The updated version will apply from the date it is posted on this page unless a later date is stated. Your continued use of Psychic.org after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms, your access to Psychic.org, your use of Psychic.org from inside or outside Australia, and any dispute arising out of or connected with Psychic.org are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia, and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree not to bring or continue any claim, complaint, proceeding, arbitration, demand, or similar action against Psychic.org, The Psychic Club of Australia Pty Ltd, World Psychic Organization, or their directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, or related parties in any court, tribunal, regulator, or forum outside Queensland, Australia.
If you access the site from outside Australia, you acknowledge that we do not actively represent that Psychic.org is appropriate or available for use in your location, and that any overseas access is at your own initiative and subject to these Queensland law and jurisdiction terms.
